Niche completes acquisition of Ausecology

Hazard Reduction Burns to Protect Ecological Offset Values
In preparation for an elevated bushfire risk this season, Ausecology been busy conducting hazard reduction burns in order to minimise fire risk to ecological values contained within the offset properties we manage. Life next to Brisbane’s busiest roads

Increasing the natural population of Acacia pedleyi
Ausecology welcomed the rain after the planting of Acacia pedleyi on a biodiversity offset property for Origin Energy. A. pedleyi (listed as vulnerable under the Queensland Nature Conservation Act) is endemic to the Callide and Calliope ranges.
